Doesn't happen particularly often. Probably something to do with me never commenting other people's journals, and basically behaving as though I am a moldy crypt.

a. list seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself
b. tag seven people to do the same
c. do not tag the person who tagged you or say that you tag "whoever wants to do it"

Hmmm. Seven habits, quirks, or facts.

1. When at work, I tend to "walk" a pen across my knuckles, as my nerves get worked.
2. I got that from a movie--and have forgotten which one. If anyone cares to remind me of movies that I would have seen somewhere around the mid- to late-eighties, that include an annoying Suit walking a pen while seated behind his desk, fell free to chime in. Bear in mind that I might not remember the Suit in question, so screencaps might be the best way to remind me. And it might just be the dude from that Brosnan Bond flick--the one who took Bond's explodey-pen and kept clicking it.
3. A quirk--I've mentioned it elsewhere, but since I don't quite have the Total Fan Club where the members of the Elite can quote chapter and verse The Post About the Bowel Movement, I'll put it here, too: phrases and particular things get stuck in my head, in a fashion not unlike Tourette's. Rhymes, offensive things, whatever. I used one of them with my wife, yesterday, but I can't remember which one--they come and go. The most outstanding example would be poop loop group, often just simplified as poop loop.
4. I love "Napoleon Bona Part One & Two" by Budgie, and I don't know why. It might be a disease.
5. I have very little in the way of actual job skills, that could be used to get a better job than the shit I currently have. I've worked factories, fast food, temporary labor positions, retail, and now call centers. Score!
6. I'm constantly coming up with stories and scenes in my head--I'm horribly imaginative. I write, and have since adolescence, but have never had the balls to try and publish. It's only recently that I've even tried to learn the process of publishing.
7. I broke myself of the nail-biting habit, only to find that in my current job, I bite my lips.

I get to start the new schedule tomorrow--Yay! Back to the day shift. I am filled with hate for the day shift. It's great getting off work at 3:30 or 4--it just sucks rancid asshole to have to be up and awake and working at 7 AM.

I've broken 50k (actually did that a couple of days ago) for the sequel to the werewolf story. Now we have werewolves with guns! Huzzah!

[livejournal.com profile] aki_dreaming woke up my D&D junkie. Grr. Now I want to root through my old stuff and do a 3rd ed. conversion. Still not very interested in 3.5--unless someone wants to give me the core books for fucking free. I hate it when you buy something and they've outmoded it before the ink dries on your check.

[livejournal.com profile] ounceofreason--life is not wholly made from suck. I think I emailed you a copy of my first-ever novel, once, and for that, I apologize. I'm on the third edit, and starting to wonder should I even keep it.

Found my technical pencils--Series 2 of Night-Blooming Flowers to begin soon! I won't be able to order more stock of the first series until Jan 20, though.

All done.
