My phone and internet provider sent me a letter telling me that they would shut off my service in fifteen days from receipt of said letter if they didn't hear from me. Seven days later they went ahead and shut my service off anyway, and then told me they would gladly reconnect it, after I had paid them off (I hadn't really noticed that they'd cut me off, as their internet connection was so damn spotty sometimes anyway that I thought it was simply some fuckup on their part), for a nominal charge.
Strike three.
The first problem was when I was told that my bill would only be forty bucks a month, and then they turned around and started charging me sixty, because "the area you're in doesn't make enough money for us." then there was an issue with an overcharge and their reluctance to correct it. And now this.
I told them no, thank you kindly, but I think I shall simply have you permanently disconnect my service.
And then I got another service set up to start on Tuesday.
So.
I won't be checking up on you guys much during the day till then, and if anything happens that you'd like for me to know about, best to point my attention in it's direction, as I don't have much time to utilize the work wifi, only a couple of hours, usually. Which isn't much time to read the entirety of the flist.
But anyway.
I feel as though I am living the ghost of a life, once again, and will most likely continue to feel this way until I'm able to get together with my lovely wife.
Gotta get out of this update thing, so I can do some online bill-paying.
